## What StudentFlow does and does not do

StudentFlow organises your trip and links official sources. It does not give immigration, tax or legal advice, and it is not a licensed immigration consultant, lawyer or tax adviser. Your employer’s mobility or legal team, or a licensed adviser, decides what applies to your case.

**We do:**

- Turn your trip or assignment into one checklist: entry and work rules, documents, travel, your time there and your return.
- Link the official page for each regulated step, with the date we last checked it.
- Keep your passport copy, employer letters, insurance certificate and receipts in a private vault.
- Line up the travel basics next to the step they belong to: flights, airport transfer, a place to stay, business travel cover, eSIM and forex.
- Show tax-residency pages as awareness links, so you know which authority publishes the rules.

**We do not:**

- Tell you whether you need a visa or work permit, or whether a business-visitor route covers what you plan to do.
- Give tax, social-security or legal advice, or tell you where you are tax resident.
- Choose a route for you, or assess whether an application will succeed.
- Prepare or submit applications on your behalf, or write letters that claim to satisfy an authority.
- Replace your employer’s mobility or legal team. They decide what applies to your case.

## Who it is for

- **Short business trip:** A trip for meetings, conferences, site visits or training, after which you go home. Official visitor pages list which business activities are allowed and which are not.
- **Work assignment:** Your employer sends you to work abroad for a defined period. That usually involves an official work route tied to the role, and often a letter or sponsor documents from your employer.
- **Relocating for a new job:** You have, or are arranging, a job offer from an employer in another country. The official skilled-worker or work-permit pages explain how the employer and you each take part.
- **Founder / self-employed:** You run or are starting your own business abroad. Entrepreneur and self-employment routes open, pause and close, so the status on the official page matters.
- **Remote worker:** You keep working for your current employer or clients while based abroad. Immigration, tax and social security rules can all apply, and there is often no single official page for it.
- **Something else / not sure:** A mix of the above, or you are not sure yet. We point you to the official tools and suggest speaking to your employer’s mobility team or a licensed adviser.

## How a professional trip is planned in one place

1. **Entry & work rules** (Before you commit to dates): Find the official page for your kind of trip and agree who signs off.
2. **Documents** (While you prepare): Get your passport, letters and supporting papers ready in the format asked for.
3. **Book travel** (Once you know you can travel): Flights, airport transfer, somewhere to stay, cover, eSIM and money, in a sensible order.
4. **On the ground** (While you are there): Cross the border with the right papers, keep receipts and stay safe online.
5. **Return & wrap-up** (After you are back): Close the trip: expense claims, records and tax-day awareness.

## Travel services professionals usually need

- **Flights, flexible fares first:** Fares that can change when meetings move, with the baggage rules and the border documents in view.
- **Airport transfer:** A pre-booked ride with a driver who tracks your flight, so a late arrival is not a problem.
- **Hotels, serviced and extended stays:** From a few nights near the meeting to a longer assignment, with the contract and cancellation terms explained first.
- **Business travel cover:** Cover for medical care, cancellations and delays that matches what you will actually do on the trip.
- **eSIM and connectivity:** Data from the moment you land, while your home number stays reachable for banking codes.
- **Forex and travel cards:** Move or load money through authorised providers, and compare the rate and the fee together.

## Frequently asked questions

### Who is the StudentFlow professional planner for?

It is for people who travel or relocate for work: short business trips, employer assignments, job relocations, founders and the self-employed, and remote workers. You tell us the country, the type of trip and your dates, and we turn it into one checklist from entry rules to your return.

### Does StudentFlow tell me whether I need a visa or a work permit?

No. Whether a visa, permit or business-visitor route applies depends on your nationality, your activities and the rules at the time, and only the authority or a licensed adviser can say. We link the official visa-check tool and the page for your trip type, and your employer’s mobility or legal team confirms what applies.

### Is StudentFlow an immigration or tax adviser?

No. StudentFlow is not a licensed immigration consultant, lawyer or tax adviser. We organise your tasks and link official sources, including the tax authorities’ residency pages, so you know where the rules are published. For advice on your case, speak to your employer’s team or a licensed professional.

### Which countries can I plan for?

The United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and Germany are all live. Each has a page with the official entry pages by trip type, a five-phase plan, costs to plan for and the services professionals usually need.

### Can I plan remote work abroad here?

You can plan the logistics and see what to check. Rules for working remotely from another country can involve immigration permission, tax and social security, and they differ by country. Our guide lists the questions to ask and the official pages to read; it does not tell you whether remote work is allowed.

### Can I book flights, a hotel and an eSIM through StudentFlow?

Optional services sit next to the step they belong to: flights, airport transfer, stays, business travel cover, eSIM and forex. Booking is optional, availability depends on our partners, and you see the price before you pay. Check your employer’s travel policy first.

### Is it free?

Planning your trip is free. If you choose an optional service through StudentFlow, the provider may pay us a commission. It does not change the price you see.

### I work in HR or mobility, or I am a consultant. Can I use StudentFlow?

Yes, talk to us. Employers who send people abroad can get in touch about onboarding travellers, and consultants can manage their clients’ journeys. Consultants are responsible for holding any licence the law requires.
